Translated word by word it means a thing like that: "tears-heavy"
naja man kanns nich wirklich ganz genau uebersetzen, aber ich glaub "full of tears" triffts am besten
I'd say: "full of tears" would be a good translation. or "soaked with tears", although it not really about the wetness of the tears, but the heavyness that would come with it, when something is soaked with tears.

Let's try "full of sorrow" or "full of sadness" for a start. Because I beliefe the song describes a deep sadness caused by the loss of a love.....or less poetic....not able to deal with a broken relationship. The guy appearendly ended the relationship but is having trouble dealing with the situation. He is coming back but she is smart enough not to give in....
It is a beautiful phrase and "traenenschwer" is actually my favorite song on the album. She puts on this nice cynical and despising touch into her voice specially in that line ..."you are part of my past"..."Du bist Teil meiner Vergangenheit"....But..listen again, she seems to have a little trouble as well.....anyway...my 50 cent to this...
